I'm running a MacIntosh and am trying to create a self-contained movie for internet display. How is this accomplished?

It seems your previous thread on this has been moved to the 3D/2D Animation forum. The Quicktime Player "save as" dialog has a button for self-contained. There is also something called "Internet Movie Tool" that makes MOVs into self-contained MOVs.

You could also get a little utility called Moover. Save your Poser animation as a series of pict files, then compile it in Moover, which allows you to create self-contained and cross-platform MOVs. I've been using it for years; it's invaluable for small things.

Which QuickTime player? The POSER built in one or is this one that QUickTime or Quicktime Pro supplies?

"Quicktime Player" is a program that comes with Quicktime. When you do a "save as" from it, you can save self-contained files. (Not sure, but Pro may be required for "save as" to work??)

Got It! Quick Time Pro's tools changed the format without trouble. Finally! Thanks to all
