I have messed around with the tree gen in bryce 5, and they have a presetting for Willow trees :) However, when clicking on that, the resulting tree doesnt look like anything close to a Willow tree.. anybody had any luck with the tree gen?

I put a posting on last night. I ran into the same problem trying to get a realistic pine or fir tree. So far no-one has responded. If you can actually get the trees to look real I hope someone comes up with a table that tells you what all the settings are.

I found this link on another board. Looks like it will be alot of help when it's done. The settings for a douglas fir is on there now and that's about it. http://www.hinchu.com/tuts/trees/the3dwizard posted Sat, 21 July 2001 at 2:06 PM

They both are great! What values did you use. The second one will work great for a scene that I am redoing with the Trees in Bryce 5

As a beta tester for 5 I found that the presets are not always the best for what you are trying for. So, it may be best to check out other tree shapes to see if they are any better for the look you are going for.
