We also need BEGINNERS Posers users. If you're interested in testing some of the future released items here, just go and register yourself at the link provided... Have a great day. Celcile, I'm a beginner... when it comes to poser at least. Dont believe me? Go here. (Yes, that is a "self-portrait") So there was a typo, and yes, i am a beginner. Now isnt that special. ;)

Hi Cake1, I would LIKE to be advanced but I actually chose "Casual" (just a few real hours more experience than beginner grin) - I assumed Advanced meant you could model from scratch and all that kind of stuff. Could you change my entry to Casual please? Thank you. :)

Well, I'm a beginner and I guess I'm wondering just what exactly a beta tester does.
There are a lot of things worse than dying, being afraid all the time would be one.

When new software comes out, it wasnt just slapped together... theres bound to be bugs left and right in the source code. The only way to make sure that your product does not have any glitches or bugs is to have people test the product before it hits the market. These people are given the task of running it through its paces, almost striving to find any problems. The main key is that a piece of software may run great on one machine, but another machine with a different hardware configuration may come across a problem previously unseen. This is then reported to the programmers, and they set out to remedy the problem. As for the need for a large amount of people, well, it simply increases the chance of finding problems throughout computers with different OS's, processors, vid cards, etc. And along with some blood, sweat, and tears, that is how you design worthwhile software.

Yeah, it also listed me as advanced when I know I hit the 'casual' button. You, know, now that I think of it, you should probably make the categories "beginner, intermediate, advanced and master" I'm somewhere between intermediate and advanced on that scale.

(i'm happy, i finally figured out how to get coloured posts!!!!) lol
AprilYSH posted Mon, 23 July 2001 at 8:15 PM
oh no, not coloured text... i can't read yours or amp3's posts unless i select it all first cos i chose a light background scheme. :/ i was okay with this cos i only noticed one person doing it before but if this becomes fashionable it's gonna get annoying! please let the users choose the colour scheme! :)
