The wonderful clouds enlist the new Bryce textures and rendering methods. The slightly alien facial conformation derives from a PhotoShop composit of a photo I scanned and the Poser-4 default face. The battle axe is a Bryce object dl'd from this sites Fun-Stuff page. I think there is something unsttling about this pic. What's your reaction?

Hi Chris, You are right about the unsettling aspect to the image. I think it could be because the head looks slightly out of proportion with the body in some way (maybe like you said due to the post you did on it)Also the shoulders seem to uneven in width or something and the downward droop of the left one in particular kind of puts the eye off kilter when looking at it the pic. Then again it could be the texture you used on the body that is making my eyes go whacky :) Unsettling or not I like this pic! Regards Eshal

All the facial features eyes, nose mouth were carefuly lined up when I composited the image. The skull size and proportion was OK. The photo was of a black female the Poser head was caucasian. I see a definte mullato cast to the face. The issue of the shoulders is not evident in the full size pic but I see what you mean in the smaller version I posted. I think the problem is related to the envioroment. It's not so far from reality as to be immediatly processed as fantasy yet, it's not what one experiences in nature. Christine

hmmm Now that I look at the picture again I do see the mullato cast to the features that you mentioned. When I first looked at the pic the clouds caught my eye as being sort of unreal but then I thought to myself that seeing as I had seen this type of effect in fantasy images and the like that must be what you were looking to imclude in your image. Mind you I have seen clouds look that thick with that yellow kind of tint where I live though on a slightly larger scale, generally in the afternoon as a preview to the almighty downpour that is about to hit :) Regards Eshal
