I would like to download some of the freebie outfits I see here, but I don't know if they are even for the figures that Poser 4 comes with unless it says "P4 Female". I'm guessing that Vicki clothing probably wouldn't work. Also, I noticed that the P4 Female is lo res and different from the female characters in which you have more control over their facial features. So, how can I tell that I'm downloading the right stuff without wasting a good deal of time - 'specially since there is so much great stuff out there.

Vicki clothing and textures will not work with the P4woman -- well, okay, the clothing might, but only after a lot of tweaking. In general, people are pretty good about identifying what does with what model. The only thing to watch is not to download stuff for "Eve" and use it on the P4woman: in my experience, it doesn't work that well. Others may know how to get around that, but I can't make the stuff fit properly.

I've been downloading things here for a long time, and I even get confused occasionally. Some of the items are not clearly marked for which character they were made. It would be helpful if all you talented artists could be sure to indicate on the thumbnail what character an item is intended for. Especially clothing and texture maps. Sometimes it's hard to tell in the image. Thanks so much, Melanie

Sihn, just in case you might not have known, P4 Female also goes by "Posette." You should be able to use anything designated for Posette with no troubles at all.
