Hello, I only have the Bryce 5 demo right now. But I was wondering if there's an easy way of getting all my tons of Bryce 4 mat files and skies into Bryce 5? Or will I have to import each one, one at a time. Also on a side question: Does anyone else have trouble with Bryce 5's interface even slowing down? I have a 1ghz P3 with 384megs ram and sometimes just going from one editor to another slows down BAD with the demo, and not with very complex scenes either. Nothing that B4 wouldn't breeze right bye.

I have read other posts that say the demo runs MUCH slower than the purchased product, I have not yet tried it. Moving files - go to a directory (i.e.; "Plains and Terrains") click on the first material, scroll down to the last material, hold down "Shift" and left click the last material, this should select all the materials in that directory (Look close, you should be able to see a small red ring around each square now). Click "export" and it will export all those files as a single .mat file. Then, you can just import them into Bryce 5 by using the import option in a materials directory. Also, holding down the "Ctrl" button and left clicking allows you to randomly choose any files in a directory. Agent Smith

Hey, thanks alot for the help! From what I've been seeing so far I think I'll probably get the upgrade. Seems that the trees are pretty good, as are the new render possibilities. Just got to be careful not to grind my PC to a halt! :) And I thought playing up-to-date PC games would tax my system...
