Well Poser 5 has some big shoes to fill with Bryce and Vue getting more sophisticated. With the NEW additions of soft shadows (minus the really long render time) in Bryce 5, B5 is right now my renderer of choice of the ones I own. Sorry I don't have Maya, LightWave or 3D MAX or any of the high end programs. But it's nice to know that Poser and Bryce are still affordable and my renders are getting the NEW tweaks they have been longing for due to the dedication on improving these programs. Yea! And thanks. Poser still does some nice renders but cries out for true ray tracing. And I just can't get Carrara to do what I want. So Bryce wins out for now. But of course none of this would be possible without Poser and the great models. Here is just another little test in Bryce with a new texture I have been working on for Michael. Only a little post work in PhotoShop. A bit of blurring and the additin of type. The better these programs get the less post work needed. James

The only thing to watch out for when rendering in a ray-tracer like Bryce is that it is not as forgiving as the rendering image in Poser. The slightest error will come screaming through. Just an FYI.

Yes, they probably are, but the operative words here were "But it's nice to know that Poser and Bryce are still affordable " 8^) Marque
