OK people. This time I need some assistance ;-). I can't seem to get the walk designer to move the arms right on a custom figure. The arm stay extended outwards like the default pose. Here's what I've tried so far: 1.)named all parts the same as poser figures 2.)character was made in the standard default pose 3.)there are collar, shoulder forearm, etc body parts the same as a poser figure 4.)I tried all possible rotation orders with the collar to see if the arms would lower in designer The hip, chest, legs, etc. all respond correctly to the walk designer. It is only the arms that won't lower to the figures sides that is giving me a problem. So what's the freakin trick!? Any help is apprieciated, Scott Ayers iamsba@aol.com

I gotta think that there is something not right in the CR2. Grey gave a technique for the walk designer that I have in the FAQ. Take a look at that. I have not tried it, as I don't do animations.

Grey's walk designer tip doesn't work for this (as far as I know). Make sure the body parts have the correct behind-the-scenes name (i.e rShldr) as well as the correct Poser interface names (i.e. Right Shoulder). Hope this helps. -JK

WhooHoo! Thanks guys. It turns out that I named the shoulder "Left shoulder" the way it's shown in the list of body parts. But poser needs the PHI file to say "lShldr" and it converts it into the full spelling in the UI list. Now the whole figure works properly in the walk designer. Thanks a lot. I knew you guys would come through for me ;-) Scott Ayers iamsba@aol.com
