I want to pay people back by putting images and textures up, so people can download them. But i have no idea on how to make the textures. When i save what i am doing in poser, i get the rsr file. But what about the cr2 file?, and how do i make the texture files? There are so many files that are used in this program, i get confused. and all i have is poser and the programs that came with win 98. so its not alot. any help will be very appreciated.

heyas; textures are 2d images you paint in a painting program. they are tif or jpg (or bmp). so you need the image you are applying as a texture, which is wherever you saved it. now, if you say you're NOT painting texture maps, just using obj colour in poser, then you dont need to worry about all that, the cr2 saves that info. if you are using texture maps, the pointer info to them is also saved in the cr2; this either points to the poser/runtime/textures/ sub-directories, or points to the exact location on your hard drives. either way, you really dont have to worry about that too much, as long as you include the texture image you used. (that is, if you have permission to distribute the image.) so if you have 'my person.cr2' that loads up 'mypersontexture.jpg' from wherever, just zip together 'my person.cr2' and 'mypersontexture.jpg,' and people should have what they need. (note: dont distribute bmp files over the web, they're just too huge. lzw compressed tifs are better, but most people prefer high quality jpgs.)
