Subject: User Leaf Example

This is just a simple example of the user leaf function in the treelab, some of the (leaves) seem to be floating because of the way I set the image up and it's alpha channel, it's not a bug in Bryce 5 heheh, but you can see the potential of this function, you can make any image or logo or pict a leaf if ya want:-)

Cool Clay. There are lots of flowers on the content cd, try some out rose bushes and other flowering bushes are easily made this way. On a more somber note, Some of my files containing user leaves don't render correctly on a network. Even simple files with one or two trees do this. I can render it from the temp file on the client and it renders fine, but tile optimization and several computers it doesn't work right. Even on the server. Have you had any experiances like this clay? If so I will fire off an email to corel and post on thier newsgroup hopefully this will be fixed. Griggs

That's pretty cool! Gotta make a money tree though so I can get the Bryce 5 upgrade!

Nicely done. You really blew the lid off that one quickly. As I suspected the tree design is just a beginning. With the right textures, possibly making the trunks smaller or transparent you could be doing clouds or blazing fires. At least that's what I thought you were pointing towards.

Clay - cool idea! I haven't played around with B5 that much since I got it...but I like the idea of being able to use your own leaves! That could create some pretty cool greanery! Here's a little pic I did with my own leaves...now if I could only figure out how to actually plant the thing! Jared

If I figure out how to plant it free money trees for everyone at osity! I think I'm going to keep playing with this idea...could make for some better renders!
