I'm having a problem importing models with the dxf or 3ds extensions into bryce 3D. I made a model in Amorphium 1.0 and want to bring it into Bryce and play with it in there.....am I missing something perhaps? Any help will be greatly appreciated..thanks to all in advance. pixelspup

I use Amorphium and Bryce together with no problem. I suggest using .obj export out of Amorphium and into Bryce. That's all I ever really use. Bryce seems to balk at some .3ds files, but loves all .obj's. Other than that...this wouldn't happen to be the full free copy of Amorphium that came with some 3D magazine as of late is it? If so, I have heard there are some bugs with it. Check the Amorphium forum for that, I think they have been posting about it. Agent Smith

Bryce 3D and 4, under Windows 95 and 98 doesn't like files that are larger than 12.5 Meg also. You can import larger models under NT, I've successfully loaded a 117 Meg .obj file. As far as formats, I'd recommend the .obj format also.

117 Megabyte .obj!? What the heck was it? A model of the entire planet earth and all that it contains?

Thank you all for your replies.....I'll use the .obj format if I need to import anything from here on in. Pixelspup :)
