Couldn't let Nerd's great Taarna character go to waste.. The scene needs more "stuff" and a bit more light on her, but what do think so far?

It looks good as is, the shadow effect is perfect. I'd say reveal her face in another image that advances the story. The only problem I see is that dark shape under the torch, it doesn't seem to belong there for some reason. -JH.

Thanks Jeff.. I am working on a second draft that has a couple more things lying around (like a box of firewood near the fireplace) and added a bit of fog effect.. seems to look good so far. I really like the spilled cup. Anyone here seen any fireplace tools around? I've hit up nearly every model repository I could find, but with no luck so far. As far as the additional light, I put another torch on the other side of the room (behind us) that's low and adds just a bit of light. WRT the dark spot, its the shadow of the torchiere.. should I make it so that the holder doesn't cast a shadow? I debated that, and decided to leave it in, even though I wasn't 100% happy with the result. Thanks again for the comments.. TyggerBob

I would remove the torch shadow, it doesn't look right. -JH.
