Hey y'all. I haven't been here for a while, but that's because I haven't been doing much. Any way I have a couple of pics of a model I'm working on and I wanted some imput as to how to make it beter, clean it up and so on and so forth. Here's a shot from the camer angle, right up the middle: Here's a shot from the side:
The idea is based on a ship from ST: Voyager, in one episode there was this ship that used a huge gun to alter time and I thought that the weapon looked pretty cool. So Itried to model it. My biggest concern is the support legs, I think they're too rounded (was an experiment with metaballs). So any comments welcome and appreciated, but if you thinks it's lame, don't just say, "It sucks", tell me why it's alme and what I can do to make it better.

This looks amazing. The support legs probably do need to be trimmer but its the points on the ends of the legs that don't look right to me. A curve doesn't seem enough of a support.

Yeah I was thinking of using cylinders, but this model was originally me just playing around with metaballs and I anted to try something, so I'm gonna replace the legs with cylinders. --LodeRunner
