What I wanted was ALL 4 bump height's clicked (A-D). It wouldn't do it. Anyone have any idea? p.s. - Credit to Jeff Richardson, this is a color-tweaked version of his Flakey Paint material. Agent Smith

try clicking only on the fourth channel...it should allow you to pick a texture for that channel and load the bump...then you can check all four...i am assuming you are clicking the other 3 prior to the fourth thus making the fourth unclickable. Bryan

Nope, tried that. I can pick just the 4th channel and pick a bump, but then it STILL will not allow me to choose all 4. I can pick up to 3 (A,B,C) but not D. It's weird. I have picked all 4 before with other textures, this one is just being difficult. I'm going to have to re-build the texture, doing all 4 at once, maybe that will get past this glitch in the matrix. Hi AgentSmith-- Actually, you can't do this in Bryce. Source "D" in the material editor has always "stood alone" so to speak -- you can use it in any of the slots, but cannot be used in conjuction with the other channels. Bryce has always done "A", "A-B", and "A-B-C" blending, but has always excluded D as sort of an "extra" slot... -Brian
