Just stopped in at FreeStuff. Every item except the first on show over 2800 downloads. Is that really true? Are the downloads getting that popular?

Has to be a glitch IMO.

Check out the "Most Wanted" section--everything in it is from the past few months. It's an error of some sort.

Mesh I think you're a bit paranoid, I know some people do that occasionally, but all those free items are not by the same people, and alot of them are by people who would never do the types of things you're going on about...its a bug most likelly like jeffh says...

Nope, not a bug AFAIK. That code hasn't been touched in months. Looks like someone did some script downloading, or at least tried to. Not sure if they were successful. If one of you who has the 2800+ downloads has FTP logs of your Free Stuff item, maybe you could help us understand what happened.

Well, it has to be a hiccup of some kind. Check out deeper into the freestuff (For instance the Dangerous Curves package). It had over 5000 downloads a few days ago and now it's been set to the same number as the others. 28**. I should take note of the numbers, starting hosting it for him recently... So yeah it's not a batch downloader.. I don't think, unless they can take away hits? Tom

I found some minor database corruption and have fixed it. I believe this explains the Freestuff download counters.
