Thanks for the alert. Keep those Firewalls and Virus apps up to date. Isn't this crap getting a little old, the people who do this sh%t should be dipped in acid. Why anyone would get their kicks out of causing others useless misery is beyond me. I just don't get it, why do they do it? It really baffles me as to why they have to screw with other people. A MESSAGE TO ALL THE VIRUS CREATORS OUT THERE WE HATE YOU, AND DON'T APPRECIATE YOUR EVIL LITTLE GAMES

Uh...quick question. WHAT was it you downloaded so we may avoid that particular pitfall?

Its called Code Red. Reason my sites been down for a few. Apparently, it blew out the ISP's server.

GO to SP2 on W2K server and then there's a patch for it. www.networkassociates.com and www.symantec.com discuss it. Won't hit your PC but it will hit your ISP. Too bad your ISP didn't get the hotfix. We sailed along at work without problems cuz we did it.

They're a big ole server farm, with multiple IP's on common servers. Apparently thousands of simultaneous port 80 scans are fragging the processors. Hmmphh. Mitch

No wait a minut...are you saying that the reason why my Zonealarm is running crazy in the moment is because my isp got this Code Red-thingie, but it will not harm my PC ????

Here is a link to another great firewall besides ZoneAlarm, with the two of them running you should have a better degree of protection.
