DAZ would like to announce the Screen Saver Contest!! How would you like YOUR images flashing across computer screens worldwide? Now you can by entering the DAZ Screen Saver Contest! Sponsors include DAZ, Right Hemisphere, E-On Software, and Beyond Bent. We encourage all artists to unleash their creative intuitions. The contest will have only one category, however, everyone will be a winner; all entries will be posted on DAZs web site. Qualified entries will be included in a screen saver that may be downloaded for free from www.daz3d.com. Three outstanding artists will receive prizes for their work. Deadline: Sept. 12, 2001 by 10 am MST. Screen savers usually animate... yet these specs seem to indicate a still image? This is more wallpaper size. Carolly

Hauksdottir, The screen saver we will be making will be like the banner in that it will go from a still image then fade into new still image etc... We put a large image size so that we will have room to adjust images as needed to make the screen saver. Thanks for your questions. There are several fade and dissolve routines (from when adventure games were really slow), so that will be just fine. :) Let's see if I can come up with something decent. Good thing I'm not a punster, otherwise I'd make a curious lab rat bedazzled by all that science... gotta run. Carolly
