Does anybody know how to insert two characters in the poser scene at once? Is it possible at all?

Simply use the double check at the bottom of the library to load the second figure. If you double click the picture of what you want or if you use the sinlge check you will replace the figure that is already there.

I have problems that if both use the same geometry file, most of the body parts for the second figure will be missing in the second figure. Is there a way to fix this?

does the problem involve mike of vicky? those 2 have a problem working with their clones.

it could be you're running low on ram... for already saved figures use "import poser document" menu item...

Does I read that right ... you only want to add 2 figures via one click ??? A possibility is to rename a *pz3-file to *cr2 - then you have a complete scene in your characters-library ...

You will also have troubles using 2 charatures of the same model where different morphs have been applied to each(in my case DaCort's Naga & Echidna where they share the same Geometry file). In an earlier thread I learned that I can make a copy of the Geometry file with a new name then edit one of the CR2s to point to the 'renamed' OBJ file. The same technique was discussed for CR2 props as well, like putting multiple motorcycles into a single scene. A little work, but it solves the problem.

To bring in a new char use the double check marks at the bottom of the menu box, DO NOT double click the new figure. Double clicking replaces the figure, using the double checks at the bottom adds another figure. i usually have in excess of 4 chars in any given scene. Poser tends to get confused when looking at the geometries. A way around this is to hit alt w then hit h When the heirarchy window opens up click the cirles with the little guy in it(it will say figure 1) and rename your figure. Repeat as nessesary for all figures, clothing, in your document. ex: figure one becomes Blondfemme. Figure 2 becomes BlFeDress (blonde femme dress) Figure 3 becomes BrunFemme Figure 4 becomes BrFeDress. Hope this makes sense...

I have never had this problem. I did read in the forum at some times that if the figures have the same name this can occur. By default they all seem to be called figure 1, figure 2, etc.I rename all of my figures when saving them, by selecting 'body' and 'properties' under OBJECT. Give that a try and let us know if it works.

tigerd: it's not important if you give the names to your figures (at least not as a remedy for above problem). if it's vicky & mike based figures then here's an url for explaining it. not easy thing, though :-) http://www.rbtwhiz.com/rbtwhiz_EMCPrintable.html#update
