Anyone have any bark textures for Vue? (aside, of course, than the ones that came with it!) Someone recently posted an image of a tree with some really amazing bark texture (wow, it was something!!) ... ideas? Thanks! Brian

I have a couple procedural bark materials at my website. If you'd prefer to work with an image map, there are many sites with free textures, such as www.totallyseamless.com Check back in the archives here for "texture"; there was a recent thread where several folks posted URLs for favorite texture sites. :)

No problem. I've been meaning to do it anyway, because I knew that link I posted was here somewhere and I wanted to get back some of those textures I got from there. but now the site's gone. :(

Thanks everyone! I'm FINALLY (been saying that for a week now) just about done with my first image. Man I just have to save the dang thing and lock it, I keep letting it render then coming back to tinker. Hasta! Brian
