A larger size is really necessary in order to bring out the charm of this old building, but my first attempt exceeded the size limits. This was taken just before they began to "remodel" it to turn into condominiums. Built in 1892 (as you can see by the date on the front of the building), this was the old Memphis Brewery. It ran until the early 1950's, and has been abandoned these last 50 years. I took it last spring, and sat on it until I saw the work Alpha did on "28 Castle Street", and that inspired me to try to do something with this. I know it's not on the same level, but I like the building so much I think it almost makes up for it. This is a blend of several filters, and I just don't know if this is the finished work or not. Any comments or suggestions for improvement would be greatly appreciated before I decide on the final picture. I'm going to post a close-up insert below to give a better look. Thanks much!
