okay... i've never had this problem, but just re-installed poser fresh on my new hard drive. now why won't it start up with all my stuff arranged the way i want it? i set the preferred state, i launch to previous (non factory state); i tried both ways... but every time, i gotta go find my ui dots and hit my standard set to get things in place. :/

Document Preference Launch to preferred state Interface preference use previous state Make sure you close poser with it set as you want it. Other than that I don't know what could be wrong. -JH.

heya; yep, set up my empty documet the way i wanted, spiffed up my ui the way i wanted; hit the button to set my preferred state, checked start with that, and launch interface to previous. and i havent crashed outta poser or anything. could my poser.rsr be messed up already? or would that be the poser.ini. i made backups of 'em. :/
