I know it has been mentioned before but I can't find the thread - so please help! How do I use UV Mapper to get get rid of all the material areas so I just have to apply the texture once after export?

If you want the entire object to have one material name in Poser, then in UVMapper, select the entire map and go to Edit: Asign: Material. Create a name for the object.

In the Poser Render Materials window, check the box that says "Texture changes apply to entire figure".

That won't help if you're trying to turn the entire figure red, for example. Texture changes apply to the entire figure only works for texture maps, reflection maps, transparency maps, and the other type of map. (My computer is going crashy poo so I can't look up the other map and I can't remember it's name off-hand.)

You're right, Crescent, if you want to change the material color, but rjghise just wanted to apply the texture once, so what I said would work. Also, you must save the OBJ out of UVMapper for the changes to work. If you don't rename the OBJ, you will also have to delete the Geometries file RSR for the changes to work in Poser. AND, bump, bump, bump!!! 8^P
