I have seen some absolutely amazing examples of poser use both here in Renderosity's Galleries an out on the web. Some pictures I really had to look close to see that they weren't photographs! And I was just wondering how I can closer to that! Is it just all about textures, and how do you make photorealistic textures? I've tried cut and paste from photographs but they don't tend to look so good... Also is it possible to get those results with just the 'Basic' Poser models? I would be very greatful if you could let me in on a few secrets! :)

you might want to check out cakeones tut at her site, it,s listed in the links page. the trick is bump mapping the tex for close ups also in the tut. hope this helps. stu-art

Lighting is also a big part of it... true a great texture goes a long way, but if your lighting doesn't look natural, it can ruin the whole effect.
