I recently purchased a new computer and have installed Poser 4 on this machine: P4- 1.7GHZ 1024 MEG RAM 32MB GeForce 3 Video Card (latest drivers) Windows 2000 Service Pack 2 Poser has been updated to version 4.03. The problem is with certain display components of Poser. Here is a list of the bizarre behaviors experienced: 1) Upon rendering an animation, the usual "side-stepping figure" completion status box does not show up, but a tall blue box of seemingly endless vertical proportion (which can me drug around the screen) appears on top of the left side of the Poser window. 2) Some/most (if not all) dialogue boxes do not contain ANY text other then the text on the buttons for OK and Cancel, etc. 3) The WALK DESIGNER, HIERARCHY, JOINT EDITOR, etc. windows display blank grey boxes ... nothing else. However the Animation Palette, Graph, etc. DO display properly. I even had a friend bring over his copy of the Pro Pack to see if this would solve the problem ... it behaved exactly the same after the install. Is this some kind of system font issue?? I am totally clueless to what it could be. As I said, the drivers for the video card are the very latest available and I HAVE tried turning down the acceleration to every position to no avail. Any help/suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated. -Tim
