A look back to aviations Golden Age. The biplane is not a 3d mesh or something scanned into PhotoShop. Its a "Pict" which is a 3D Bryce object. Although seldom used, I think this type of object has great potential.

That is a brilliant picture Chrisa, very evocative of the early days of aviation. The post production work is outstanding and I love the whole "feel" of the picture. I must admit, although I use Bryce a lot, I rarely (if ever) use the pict objects. However, if this is a sample of the quality I will definately rethink that policy! Paul

A truly lovely image Chrisa, excellent composition and great post production! I also whole-heartedly agree with you about the pict objects in Bryce. I often use them..they look good and are now where near as render time or memory hungry as actual 3D objects. Regards Eshal
