I have created an obj file, in Rhino ran it through UV mapper and saved the model and map. When I import it into bryce the texture map I created works fine but when I import it to Vue no matter what mapping mode I use it doesnt apply the map properly. What am I doing wrong?

I think, and I could be wrong, you may have to rotate it? Don't bank on me being correct, but I think I tried that and it said in the manual you may have to rotate the map :)Sharen

Depending on the version, Vue may read the uv coordinates of some OBJ files "upsidedown". In such cases, entering a "Y" scale value of -1.0 for the picture in the material editor will fix the problem. -SMT

When you import the object to Vue, don't move or resize it. In the hierarchy list (to the lower right), select all parts of the model that the image map is made to apply to (in case some portions of the model use different maps). With all the applicable pieces selected, move to the material editor (upper right) and select Edit Material. Near the top of the Material editor, select "Object Space" (or "object-Standard" in Vue 4). On the Color tab, select "Mapped Values". Use the Picture button to navigate to the image map. Repeat this step for Bump or Transparency if you have a bump or alpha map as well. (Good idea to give this material a unique name now in the top left of the material editor screen.) Close the Editor and render a preview of the object. How's it looking now? :)

Thank you everyone that worked, I was moving the object then applying the map. That and changing the Y scale to -1.00 and my texture map applied like it was supposed too. I appreciate everyones help.
