I'm at DAZ and am going to buy Michael but I'm a little confused. Is it best to get the Michael CD? Or do I just get Millenium Man Michael? If I get Millenium Man, do I need the Michael Map? Since I want to eventually do a new face for Michael, can someone help me make an informed purchasing decision?

hmm...you get more bang for you buck if you get the CD..i think it has mil-mike on there, not sure what the difference is between him and the regular one. mike doesnt come with any skin though, so you're gonna have to pick up one somewhere

The CD is a pretty good deal; wedge hair works well on female figures, too. However, unless something has changed, Michael2 is going to be released soon - September was once mentioned. If it follows the Vicky2 precident, DAZ may also release some new, high-resolution maps. And we can hope for a P4-like body option so he can wear P4 clothing. If you already bought or need Michael now, there will probably be an upgrade price, plus introductory discount, so watch for the release notice. Can I also plug my MikePlusPack that's here in the MarketPlace Store? 48 new morphs, customizable characters, MAT skin tint files - the best of the things I developed for my own projects. Use some or all of it with any Michael figure to get extra value from your investment. I've got another little add-on that will be out soon, which I hope folks will also find very useful.

My personal opinion: Get Mike alone if you can't wait for Mike-2, the wedge cut is good, but think hard if you really need the maps & clothes. You can find free maps in free stuff, you can buy one from the marketplace, or you can even make one yourself. I think the Daz clothes suck for both Mike & Vickie, they are too difficult to map. I am waiting for Mike 2, in the meantime I am using "Bobby" a character with Mike's head on a P4 body. Poserworld has some stuff for Mike & Vicki at a fraction of the price compared to the stuff from Daz ($35 for a 3 month subscription). That way you also get tons of stuff for your P4's as well (Vicky 2 can wear them)
