It's awful! Let me count the reasons why... 1. since the geniuses at Curious Labs only grant you one undo, don't make mistakes- in this case, impossible. 2. and of course, since you can't zoom in (like other programs with the little magnifier) there goes your eyesight! 8P 3. If you try to multiple-select, and don't do it just right, it selects a huge random chunk- and it won't undo, even if you catch it immediately. 4. Deselected polygons don't show up until you try to exit to the Pose area, get yelled at about unselected polygons, and click no, I'll stay here. I have poser 4 and the Propack. I haven't read anything about these being bug effects, but I can't explain it otherwise- unless they released the group tool in such a sad state. I was trying to redefine the "pelvis" area so it would include the full glute muscle, and follow nature's lines better. So far, it looks good- I just can't get through a complete redo without it bugging out for one of the above reasons. AARRGGHH!!!!!! That's it. I'm cross-eyed, frustrated, and tired. G'nite!

Yep, I hate the way the zoom in/out works. Ok I got the area I want to wok on centered and then I zoom in a little and its gone. So then I select the tool to move the camera up and down and drag the length of the screen a hundred or so times until I locate the area again (reminds of pulling on a long roap- heav ho, heav ho. -If I need to zoom in or out just a little, then I have to do it all over again. I'm sure quite a few of you know what I'm talking about. I asked if this would be fixed a long, long time ago. Got pro pack and OH, great- zoom still sucks.

Here's some help on magnifying if you are on a windows platform. Goto downloads.com link attached. your curson anywhere on the screen can magnify what you are looking at. I use it all the time. Also, this is one of the more poorly documented feature of poser. STURKWURK has a great tutorial as he says. Simple but you get all the basics. It'll take you 10 minutes and releave a lot of tension.Micheleh posted Mon, 27 August 2001 at 12:19 PM
Well, here is my reply to the letter I sent Curious Labs, complaining about the above points. Dear Michelle, Thank you for your interest in Curious Labs products. We are always looking for ways to improve them and your suggestions are extremely valuable to us. I will pass along all suggestions to the technical and production teams. Please let us know if we can be of any assistance to you in the near future. Thank you once again, Julie Why am I not surprised? Do they actually read these things, or is "Julie" an answer-bot?
