Last week bought vicky2 on the DAZ-site. I've read that you may not distribute any Vicki2 morphs/obj's. But as far as I know you may distribute vicki1 morphs. My question is this: Does a vicky1 morph work on vicky2? Or do they have a totally different geomitry? In other words; If I want to post some vicky morphs here at Renderosity is it wise to buy vicky1 also? thanks...

Vicky 1 & 2 are really the same figure... Vicky2 just has a bunch of morphs added to her, and comes with the P4 body version. A Vicky1 morph does work with Vicky2. You don't need to buy Vicky1, you've already got her... just turn off the Vicky2 head morph, and presto! Vicky1 (basically).

If you are going to post morphs, why not just post morphs? We do not need the complete CR2 and certainly not a PZ3. This, if you are providing a morph that you have made using modeling tools ( a morph carrier is better than a raw obj.) If you are using the morphs that come with the figure and are dialing up a new look, use a MOR.pz2 or a MOR.fc2 to do it. Ignoring V2P4, all V2 is, is the additional morphs. If you give them away, DAZ will not have anything left to sell.

Just to clarify a little further: Vicky 1 & 2 uses the same obj-file, but different cr2-files. So: if you have Vicky 2, you have the Vicky 1 obj-file, but a cr2 with additional, Vicky 2 specific, morphs. This is the reason why DAZ prohibits distribution of the Vicky 2 cr2. If it is distributed to Vicky 1 owners, they would get a complete Vicky 2 if they got the cr2.
