Hi guys. I'm really hoping that I've got a bad setting or something... but... MANY of my simple 3d boolean creations have seriously flawed math used to create them. Something as simple as one cylinder placed inside another slightly larger one (like the inside of a bronze medal or something) and corners are flying out at 0 degrees like mad. Or, throw a negative elongated sphere into the SIDE of a positive box and boom - spider webs cross the opening. Please tell me I have a setting like "[ ] Use non-intel floating point math to calculate 3d booleans" not turned on. =) Any help would be greatly appreciated. For those who, appropriately, like to ask "uhm - what are you trying to DO anyway?" I'll answer that I've got a TON of tools - but I want to use Carrara to create 3d objects to export (or keep) for other tools. Bryce is REALLY wonderful at boolean shapes - but ya can't export those things - just terrains. Thanks all. -Jim Gale
