I have a picture that I would like to use as a texture, or a material in bryce. The picture is in .bmp format right now...but I cant find a way for bryce to use this as a texture...can someone please tell me how to do this? thx a lot!

Sure, it's not that hard. And the results can be great. I posted a tip on this board a few months back about this every thing, check it out. Right now it is message #194 but may move down a few by the time you read this. But it was posted on 7/14, just go back and check it out, it will help you. Autoloader

Yes you can, and its easy to do. If your using Bryce 4 you can use jpg as well as bmp, tif. They easiest way to explain this is to follow steps 3 and 4 of my tutorial The first half involves Poser 3 so just scroll down past that. It will show how to import the textures and then how to make presets of them so you can use them over and over. I just copied the post I made covering the same topic FastTraxx
