hehehe, been here a while and never posted at this forum before... well never had anything TO post but well here goes ... my first animation following the techniques from my fav book. Only thing is the server the file is on can't handle too much traffic at any given time. So if you try to download it and it doesn't work, just try again in a few hours or so. Not sure how brinkster works.

Oh yeah, you will need the divx mpeg4 codec . You can find it at www.divx.com if you dont have it. I am only new to animations, but I am enjoying it greatly, I just wish I had a faster machine to render them :) the animation was done in three layers. Background sky layer (a colour gradient) Cloud layer (a plane with noise added for the clouds) Foreground Tower and shadow layer.

Very cool. It looks real the way the shadows move across the tower. Well done.

I just get a page that says: "This file cannot be directly accessed from a remote site"
