I made this model of a headpiece and want to make a Map for it. My problem is that I have overlapped somethings. How do I select each thing so I can move them on the map and paint them. When I try to move them all three move as they are stacked on top of each other. Can some one help me? Thank you

When you make the model put the different parts in separate groups and/or give them a different material colour. It's very possible that these have already been set without you realising it. In UVMapper go to EditSelectby Group or Material and you will see them listed and selectable.

Are there different body parts or different materials? In UVMapper, you can select one of these, then move/resize it in the UV map.

I think I made the model as just one group. I am going to redo it and I will make it as separate groups. Thanks Phil and Doozy. I will let you know how it works.

Lannie - I've written a few new seleciton tools for UVMapper Pro. If you'd like me to try dividing up and mapping the model for you, please feel free to send it along. I promise not to use your model for anything other than mapping it for you. Steve stevecox@optonline.net
