Following an announcement here in the Poser Forum,I bought the Haunted House last week from SAMS 3D & I was empressed by the quality, especially for the price. I had trouble posing scenes in the interior, (due mostly to my inexperience with fine camerawork). I got a lot of assistance from the wonderfully patient Sharon at SAMS3d, as well as many tips and suggestions from a posting here on the Poser Forum. Today, I find in my EMail box, a note from Sharon with a new version of Haunted House attached! They did a considerable amount of remapping and regrouping to make it easier for average users to get the full benefit of the model & sent it out as a Free upgrade to their customers who had bought the first release! (I'm posting my appreciation here, because I think excellent service should be celebrated & appreciated by more than just the recipient.) Kudos to SAMS3D as a real class act! Thanks, Guys! leather-guy

I have their barn and church. I've finally had to learn Poser lighting. I have some good lighting and camera settings for the church. You know if you get some good camera settings and lighting settings we should all e-mail these to Sharen. Maybe she'll post them. What do you say Sharen?

I have to agree with you all! Mike and Sharen are the greatest in supporting their customers :) They create great models at affordable prices, and are a joy to deal with. Two thumbs up for Sams 3d!

I have got the tractor, barn, and tool-bench from them and they are really a class act to deal with. Will be doing more with them in the future.

I bought one haunted house here by JesterCGI. Is it the same as you reference here? I did a search on that here and did not see another one.

No, actually, it's a newer one available only on their own site. I bought the JesterCGI Haunted Mansion (aka Haunted House) and was pleased with it, but I Have weakness for old houses, as well as anything halloween. I was really delighted to hear about SAMS3D's plan to produce one also, from a posting here. When it was released a couple of weeks later, I thought it was sell worth the wait. Even more so, now that they've improved it. Check it out, they have a couple of pages of freebees, and a nice selection of commercial offerings at very reasonable prices. (Now,if only someone would post somethig along the line of cloth-draped furniture suited for a haunted house . . .) :) WWW.SAMS3D.COM

Seems to be down, just now. Try again in a bit - (I was just there to check, while I was posting before) - This link should work, too. http://www.sams3d.com/index.htm
