I'm in the process of making a multipurpose "construction set" for the markeplace and I'm in the need of beta testers for the PC and especially the Mac (since I don't own one) I want this set to cover a wide range of needs, so I've spent quite a bit of time arranging the mapping and materials for the floors and walls. The picture shows just a few of the thousands of possiblities in the floor alone. This is currently set up as a prop, is there any way to apply a mat pose to props or will i have to make everything into figures to be able to apply mat poses? Comments and suggestions on what to include are much appreciated. Thanks d

That looks wonderful, I think you can map it if it is an object file, doesn't have to be a poseable figure. Sharen

Oh, you wanted help too! :) I believe the answer is yes. You can make a separate pose for each which can apply as a mat. the easiest way to do this is to buy MK Script from DAZ if you have PPP. http://store.daz3d.com/store/merchant.mv?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=ZP1&Category_Code=ps_software or you can send it to me along with the materials/transmaps you want to apply and i'll try to do it. haven't done it yet but i'm willing. also poserarcana has a good tutorial on making mat files.

You can have a pose file for all the mats you like. :o) The floor tiles are really gorgeous in your render, and the rest of the room looks great! Would be fun to have tables and chairs in there, maybe...?? Oh! I've got an Mac - a nice friendly one, too, lol! And I've got plenty of time to test stuff. ;-) 'later! Caroline

I've already got my plate full with beta testing, but if you find a way to apply MAT pz2 pose files to a prop instead of a figure, I'd be very interested to know how you did it. Can PPP and MK script really do that as jamball77 suggests? That would be awesome.
