Ok, it installed into poser just fine, but when I try to load her into the workspace, I get three messages. One says "newer version than expected. Will try to read anyway" or something, and is very annoying and comes up a lot, but never actually causes trouble. The next says, "cannot opent recource ...runtime...blah blah...blvickyp4.obj". The third really pisses me off. It says I'm out of memory. I have 720Mb or RAM and plenty of HDD space. It says I should allocate more memory to Poser, but have no clue how. Would this fix all my problems? How do I do it?

Alomst forgot, I have an IBM Compatible machine, not a mac.

WIthout knowing what it is that you're trying to open it's hard to say exactly what the reason is, but I think I know what part of it is... The first error is because you're not using the same version of Poser as whoever created it... if you've updated to 4.0.3 then it's probably because whoever made it has the ProPack. You can make it stop giving you this error if you edit the .cr2 file and change the version number to whatever version you have. The second error is because it's looking for the P4 version of Victoria, which comes with V2... so if you haven't bought V2 then the .obj file isn't there. If you HAVE V2 then try deleting the .rsr file for the .cr2, sometimes that works. The third error is actually because of the second error... that's just what Poser says when it can't find an .obj file... it's really not a memory thing. Hope that helped. Cin-

Do you have Vicky2 bought at DAZ ? What do you mean with freely distributable? The Lighversion? You must have the Vicky2.

On the page there is a vicky2le download for free. I guess I am just going to have to buck up, and fork over the dough. Not like its not worth it, so I won't feel too bad.

The Vicky 2 LE download is just the cr2 of the P4 Vicky 2 (has Vicky 2's head morphs, but not the body morphs). To use it, you still need the .obj file for the P4 Vicky 2, and that can only be obtained by buying Vicky 2. Vicky 2 LE is just a way to get around the fact that you can't distribute the regular Vicky 2 cr2, it is not a way to get a free Vicky.
