Subject: HELP!!! My body has fanished

Toby G ( ) posted Thu, 13 September 2001 at 8:23 AM ยท edited Sun, 01 December 2024 at 9:00 AM

I've opened up a .pz3 file I previously saved, actually all my .pz3 files, the props are there the hair is there. But the actually characters body has disappeared, I can sellect parts of the body but they are just not there. I've gone to properties to see if I've acciently made it invisible but it says its not. This happened once before when I first started using poser and a complete re-install seemed to fix it, but I've added soooo much stuff, I don't really want to do that. anyone got any clues?

Have you checked in the Hierarchy Window if the body parts are visible or not? The little 'eye' icon by each body should be white. If it is gray, that body part is invisible in the main window.

Try the .rsr files in your geometries folders, figure out which bodies don't show up an which do. for example is it the P4 nude woman, the man, mike or vicky? if it is continually the same figure, delete that figures .rsr file in the geometries folders as they do get corrupted. Poser will then rebuild a new .rsr file.

P4 nude woman .rsr was the culprit, thanks for the advice, all sorted now. phew :)
