I copied the fully clothed football player to the library, looks fine in the thumbnail but when i click the double arrow to create a new figure he comes up with only a pair of socks on. is there a select all or a group function i need to click, so as to keep the cloths on? thanks again

Look at the appearance options across the bottom of the window and click on the one at the far right. Chances are, the uniform is part of the body texture.

When you saved to the library, if there were parented or conformed figures, you should have gotten an option box to save entire group/set. Open the original .pz3, make sure all the clothes are actually attached, then save again to libray.
