Hi, Can anyone advise me on how to make the waterfall look less square and more fluid like, also any other suggestions on how to improve the pic (add/remove things, change of atmosphere, etc) welcome.

I'd try using a plane mapped with a cloud material or maybe some spheres with one to make mist around the base of the falls and rely on postwork to touch up the rest of it (mainly breaking up the edges). You might also want to change the mapping of your terrace floor to object standard so the bricks are running paralell to it. Your people look a little squashed as well. As far as the general composition I like it. Looking forward to an update. :) Oh, and maybe some chairs. Rich

Try to read Varian's tutorials about various ways to render pouring water. You can find them on his great website (sorry varian, I beat you to this :) ).

Thank you, Laurent! :) As Rich mentioned, the people have a "squashed" appearance. You might want to try a different focal length on the camera, or perhaps a higher camera position.
