hi, This may sound like a dumb question to all you seasoned veterans, but I need to make some tall figures for a futuristic comic book. All the characters need to be 150 percent taller than regular figures. Whenever i try stretching the y scale in Poser4, strange things happen when i bend the joints. Can anyone help?????

Are you adjusting the y scale for the whole body or part by part? I would do it part by part, giving the legs, neck, and abdomen the most streching. You may also want to adjust the x and z scales some, to get it to look more natural. -Trav

Thanks for the suggestions. I've been scaling the parts individually, but when i scale the thigh it extends beyond the knee joint. Any further suggestions?????

Be sure to turn off "inverse kinetics". While creating the actual figures I find it helpful to use a prop or other "base line" character as a referance. Visual aid so to speak.

You might also try to make them fashion figure or the heroic figure .. they are presets that are a good bit taller ... Good luck

I would go for the fashion model height, however, MC has shortened the arms for some silly reason. You'll need to extend the arm parts up to 100% (they have them at 86% or something). Melanie

Thanks. I think i will have to settle for the fashion model height. It will do for now (at least until I get my bearings in poser.
