ummm i hope i am doing this right, never did a challenge before... someone correct me if i do anything wrong okay? anyway, i would like to challenge anyone to do something with the following image... which is a fractal i discovered while playing with Tierazon, a fractal generator. anyway, i just HAD to do something with it and am very curious to see what everyone else makes of this bizarre looking thing. enjoy! Oh, i've posted the LARGE version of the fractal in my gallery here, the link is below in the URL section attached to this message. i also posted the thumbnail of the fractal here in the thread, so you can see what it kinda looks like, without making this thread really slow to download.

OK......well I accept your challenge LOL The full version of this image is at the link above and the thumb nail for the image is enclosed. I hope this is correct :) **note the thumb only shows a portion of the image**

My second submission to the challenge is also up. The full version of the image is at the link above, and only a partial view thumbnail is enclosed :) I hope it meets the challenge

awesome! so different, both pictures. it's amazing what you can do with a pic digitally... that is what makes this challenge idea so cool!

well heres my attempt, take one .jpeg thro in a blender with an assortment of plugins ,switch to high speed,and stand back

okay... i got so happy about the challenge i forgot to post my own results!! DOH... when i looked at the fractal, you know i kept thinking Spider Nest... Lair... and i tried to create the idea i had...

ummm then, the next day i looked at the image i'de done and was really disappointed cause it ended up nothing like the mood i had originally felt... so... i scrapped it all and started over... a few days later i came up with something a bit closer to my vision. Siren Spyder... the hostess with the mostess...

Here is my attempt. ( Had to try after seeing Sacred Rose's). This was made with Audres fractal and a picture of my cat, blended, twisted and messed with, in Picture Publisher. The thumbnail here does not show the entire image.

Still playing with Audre's fractal challenge. I meant it when I said I was stuck working with this fractal. ;~) I was working on this at 2 in the morning and I thought it was ready, but looking at it now I see I didn't get the texture centered, ;~) haha ... and after me giving people a hard time about not having their textures centered. Oh No!! I will try and rework this in the future and get the map coords right. Have fun everyone!!
