Hey everyone, I'm fairly new to Poser and 3D graphics. I've owned Poser 3 for about 12 months now and I'm just starting to get the hang of it all. It's fantastic, still learning heaps. Unfortunately I don't own any other 3D software so I have to make do with more conventional graphics programs to do back grounds/clothing - Poser clothing is so YUK !! and texture maps look so fake... Here's my first serious finished product. It's my dream picture of my fav celebrity Kylie Minogue. I used Poser 3 for the basic figure, touched up the figure, hand painted the swimwear, hair and beach scene background with Paint Shop Pro 5 I know I have a long way to go, but I'm proud of it :) BTW, I am amazed at the quality of submissions on this site, there's some really talented artists out there !

There are tons of free clothing figures that should work with poser3 at PoserWorld linked on the right. Welcome, nice work. -Jeff H.

Very impressive work there. My first thought, as I watched the picture load, was that it was a Bryce background. Know I know you painted it by hand - I'm even more impressed. Paul

Don't worry about what you don't have...what you DO have is alot of talent! Excellent image!!! Foxhollow

I like it. the only suggestion I can make is to fade the shaodow slightly where the surf is distorting the sand. But she looks like a real person, not a poser boob job. Nice.

One other suggestion - based on the location of her shadow, the sun should be almost directly overhead. The current lighting is from the sides. You might consider putting one over her head to make the lighting on her body and the lighting in her environment match. - taerin

Thanks for all of your positive comments and suggestions, it's very encouraging. I can see what you're saying taerin, I'm still in the process of learning lighting. Your suggetion has helped.

Oh and thanks for Poser World link Jeff, I've just checked it out. There's a huge range of clothes. It's excellent ! My poser models don't have to walk around naked anymore !
