Hi..i've been working with PSP up until lately..i have wanted Poser4 for about six months very badly and finally was able to purchase it lately..so thrilled because i've poured over the galleries on here and its incredible to me what artists have created with it..anyway..i'm soooooo lost..I thought if i took the template of a catsuit and painted it in PSP that i could then bring that into Poser as a new piece of clothing..i've been saving them as tiff files..and i can render a catsuit with the texture on it..but how do u get the colors?? Would i need a program such as Ray Dream Studio in order to do this or am i missing something here? Is there any way to make props and items of clothing and use them in Poser without having Ray Dream Studio..what other programs use obj files..I don't have a lot of money i already really splurged to get Poser..any help from anyone here would be truly appreciated..thanks!

what's your document set as? texture shaded will show the colouring and an impression of the texture... but they still shouls be there when you render it.. check the render settings that textures and all are applied? good luck? CHeers

Make sure you change the model color to white so your colors show through. The catsuit is black, if you painted it in nice pretty colores it won't show since the black will show through and hide it. When you do that, then do what Wiz said. ~s~

also there are free modeling programs available, I use anim8or (www.anim8or.com) it may not be as fancy as ray dream but it can make props & morphs. You may want to stop in at my web page's "guide to poser downloads" there are a few tutorials as well, which may or may not be helpful.Michigal posted Sat, 22 September 2001 at 10:08 PM
