Subject: It's not the policy, it's their hypocrisy

I have read the many threads on both forums triggered by the original posting of the "Bodybodybuilder" pose, days ago on the other site. As long as one pays the bills, one does get to decide what's what. And so it seems with Grey and his Willow woman. And as much as I've encountered it in the past, I'm always a bit surprised and somewhat appalled at obvious and overbearing stupidity. (Calling this site a home for pornography is one example of that.) Now I know everyone has supposedly kissed and made up over this issue, but that kind of statement clarifies one's character fairly concisely. It isn't just the sheer ignorance of such a lie, it's the hypocrisy of it, along with the entire "I'm a mother/the poor children must be protected because they're the future of 3D art" argument that they've run up their flagpole. If children are the future of 3D art then these two "visionaries" have destined future generations to endless examples of nude posettes, oversized-beast morphs, and see-through lingerie textures. I don't know of any elementary educational institution in this country that's teaching, "Vaginal-Hair-Transparency-Maps 101." So much for their pretentious policy of protection. The fact remains that this site is dedicated to the artist and his/her freedom. Dedicated to providing this community with REAL forums, where opinions can be exchanged, not censored or deleted. A site built on openness, not fear. Congratulations to Jack and his amazing patience (his AMAZING patience) and commitment to creating something that is useful and rewarding for all involved. I apologize for not posting this at the "Complaints Forum." I was here. I ranted here.

It's Okay Mark and I would be the last person that you would expect to learn patience, but I am trying! :o) Jack

Allie, People just don't like getting pushed around, it's that simple. They come to a site often enough that they form an emotional attachment to the interaction. When that is upset the reaction is going to be strong. A forum belongs to it's membership no matter what anyone says about their ownership. What is a forum without members? Just HTML. Should we put up with double standard rules, censorship and general lack of personal respect just because a site administrator holds the key to our clubhouse? No one enjoys being the victim of a power tripper. This isn't a feud between two forum sites it just that the victims of a certain site admin are piling up so high that they've begun to speak. They know that they are free to do so on this site without reprisals. I've seen it all happen from the inside and out, I know what I'm talking about. -Jeff H.

Well spoken Jeff. Allerleirauh, your fears and concerns, as his the fears and concerns of your friend are well based. If I was not a fellow administrator here and had not "known" of the History I would think the same thing. If you and her feel uneasy about Posting to one or the other Forum it is understood and respected. Art and Artists are feuled by Passion and at times, it gets the better of all of us. This is not an explanation but a simple fact. Politics and Art have always had, and will continue clash throughout the World. Can we do it with without acting like children?? We all should definitely try. Untill the World becomes such a place a specific Forum entitled Complaints has been created for anyone wishing to vent; and be perfectly honest, that is something WE ALL NEED TO DO, from time to time. I myself would rather have the air cleared and opinions and discretions spoken then to allow them to fester and grow. So, may I also invite one and all to use that forum for it's use as we all use the other fourms for THIER use. And even though i have already posted it... Happy Thanksgiving, EVERYONE!! ed
