Hey all Well this is what im doin at the mo and i need to know what this is as it dont look nice, Can anyone tell me im using amapi 6 cherers dolly

Hi its very hard to tell what your talking about if its the black area could be a flipped polygon what would help us help you is to render a wireframe or circle the problem area maybe we can help better then cheers

Hey travis Thanks for the reply,yes its the black bit i dont know what it is but if i render it from below it dissapears cheers dolly

Sounds like a messed up poly. Go back and delete the poly, then make it again. Maybe this will make it go away.

heyas; if you're rendering in poser, that's a degenerate facet. load your model into uvmapper and press the 'insert' key, which will look for degenerate facets and try to fix them. if that doesn't work.... poser can create these degenerate facets (or 'black holes of death') when you save an item as a prop. i did manage to fix props it kept degenerating by having the prop point to an external obj file, instead of saving it internally, as poser usually does. you can check any daz freebie prop of the week to see how that works.
