I'm not sure where the option is or how to work it. If anybody has any place or can tell me a fast tut' on how to do it id really appreciate it. Thanks ahead of time

i have a big big image i made a website layout on, an its a complete graphic. I heard an know there is a way for it to be sliced into sections so it can be made into a web page. for an idea of what i mean check this out some random page that has the gfx website http://xk.creativectrl.net/

I think you are talking about Image Ready and slices. Photoshop 6 has this option. Select the slice tool (it's underneath the magic wand tool) and drag it along your image similar to making selections. You can select parts of your image to have no image (for instance, if you made a frame and you want to etner HTML in the center) Just drag the slice tool to get the slice select tool (sorry, I'm bad with words - similar to how you get the pencil tool under the brush tool). Double click the slice you want and a pop-up will appear. Edit the slice type accordingly. When you've sliced everything out how you want it (you can edit your slices using the slice select tool also), click File > Save for Web... That will pull up Image Ready. You can hit the Output Settings button and manipulate all the little things. When you're done, click Ok and that's it! I hope that helped answer some questions.
