A few trees here in Tennessee are showing signs of Fall already. Some Photoshop'n here, but (as always) my hope is that the effect enhances the feeling of the picture instead of altering it. Trees can be a great subject since they vary so much. Happy Fall to all!

Ah... I like this pic. Autumn doesn't exist where I come from, and if it did, it would have been my favorite time of the year. :-)

See Alpha aren't you sorry you didn't stay in CA? The foliage here is still green. Snicker! Bsteph

I bet he isn't :>) four seasons adds zest to life LOL. Our peak won't be until mid October here (western NC--altho' the mountains will be a bit earlier). Diane

Diane... Western North Carolina is one of my favorite places! I used to go camping there in mid October. We'd do some deep woods camping for several days... Haven't been able to do that in a while (got married), but one Fall I will again! The actual peak here in Memphis is in late October, but some trees (like the one above) start early. I could never live anywhere where Fall wasn't a big deal.

Alpha, I come from South East Asia... no autumn here. Leaves do dry up and fall, but mostly on the whim of the tree LOL

Hay Star, just remember, there is bad for every good, and it is really getting cold where I am... -gabe-

aw, we're just starting to see the onset of Autumn (fall, indeed! we were using the word Autumn before you Yanks were out of diapers! I mean nappies.....) just a very few trees catching that golden hue....

Nappies, what's that? Us kilted ones never liked having things that constricted... -Gabe-
