Hi, does anybody know, how to add another figure to a scene created with poser 4? For example, like two figures fighting? Thanks for help, over and out, Siegfried

I don't know if this is the right way, but it's the easiest and it works for me. Just select the second figure and select "Create new Figure" (the double checkmark). It might put the second figure in the location as the first, but a simple x or z translate will fix that.

Also, if you've previously saved figures already outfitted in clothes and/or morphs, you can IMPORT the .pz3 file. Just choose "import" from the file menu, and select "poser prop". It may look for .pz2 files or something like that by default, so just change the file options to display .pz3 or "all files." Hope that helps!

Siegfried, Start with the Poser manual. It will tell you what all the buttons and controls and tabs do... and the tutorial will get you through a basic animation. Carolly

Everytime I try and add a new figure it says "Keep same porportions" with a little check box. That is it...and then it replaces the figure that I already have on my canvas. Whether you check the box or not. There is nothing under File, Edit, Figure, Object, Display, Render, Animation, or Window that says "Create New Character". And then at the base of the canvas, where it lists the Figures, sure enough the first figure is gone and is replaced by the second figure. [It will not list two figures at the same time] I am running Poser4.0... Thank you in advance for your time and help...it is most appreciated. *~Kimba

Sorry to have bothered everyone....found out it was a Geometry [two figures using the same geometery file] and that is why one was "over-writing" the other. Thank you again! :) *~Kimba
