A nice cove-like beach on the Oregon Coast, just the right size for a wall Pano (prints out well on 8.5 by 28 inch stock.. 2 legal size pages). Click on thumb for slightly larger view, and on that view again for full size image.(3 image pano, shot on Sat 9/22 about 5pm) Go direct to full size image at: http://members.home.net/mbpalso2/TestC/DevElbow/DevElbow.jpg

I think it is an absolutly beautiful image. One thing i would consider, (Keep in mind it may simply be the way I have my monitor calibrated) is to import it into photoshop, and play with the levels. I think that a pinch more contrast and saturation could do this image well. -Gabe-

I would love to own that house sitting up on those rocks...to be able to look at this all day....

And I would buy a house next to Syyd, and borrow all the sugar she owns. Mmmmmmm, suuuugaaar. Oh, really great image. Is this combination from smaller pics, or did you use panoramic lens? Either way, damn good work. And, haven't seen you here before, welcome to the group. And thank you for posting. .n

The house on the hill almost doesn't look like it's really there, but added in later. Or is it just that its hard to imagine that a house in that location really exists?

About the house on the hill, it really exists. Its where the Heceta Head light house keeper & family lived. I updated the URL: http://members.home.net/mbpalso2/TestC/DevElbow/OreCoast.htm Added a pano I shot earlier in the day, from a lookout point to the south of the beach. It gives a better perspective on how the house fits in to the scene. I also included a single image taken from the same location about half an hour before we hit the beach, where the original pano was made. Thanks for the welcome DaleP

Alpha, I can't afford the house, but if anyone has a spare room I'll rent it...then I'll phone as many of these 'helplines' on as many products as possible and we can ALL live on the freebies they'll send for the next 5 years.......
