I just got my Dina today. I'll have to check that one out!

There's a lot of detail in the mouth, jaws, & throat that isn't present in any other models I've looked at. I downloaded a free morphtarget for Dina, & loaded it into 3DExplorer to scope the detail, easy to see the level of detail there, even without the model. Very impressive! That was one of the reasons I bought it, as so many expressions are impossible to any reg P4 figures or even the Mill Folk, because of lack of detail in this area. And with limited expression, so much personality is impossible to express.

So far the only thing that really bothers me about her are her eyes, the fact that if I deform her face while morphing it I can't move the eyes to match the sockets. Other than that she is shaping up nicely. I would like to see morphs that more clearly define her nose though. She is a challenge but all in all I'm glad I got her. I see a lot in her future. Marque

Marque, can you move her eyes with Magnets?
Marque posted Tue, 02 October 2001 at 7:36 PM
Don't know, I haven't played with magnets...yet. 8^) Probably could though now that you mention it. Thanks for the idea! Marque

Marque, Just make sure when/if you try it, that your magnet zone is big enough so that it moves the whole eye at one time and not just stretch it out all weird. Keep me posted if you try it... :)

Cool, thanks for the encouragement...lol...I think I will need all I can get. 8^) Marque

Good luck Marque...I'm not a "magnet" person either, but I've been trying them out a little lately. I'll have to read the manual and get a better idea of how they work I guess. I guess I can put away my romance novels for a night or two ;)! I hope the manual covers it...I'd hate to dig thru my storage boxes for nothing! Laurie

Daffy34 To save time, this link is to the Curious Labs page with the manual on it in electronic format - save you search time, anyway *G* (Don't recall that much in the manual on magnets, actually)Marque posted Tue, 02 October 2001 at 11:11 PM
Yup, have that one but sometimes it's easier on stuff like this if I just open the manual. The only good things are that you are right about doing a faster search. Just got started playing with Zbrush, now getting into magnets, scarey....lol Marque

"(Don't recall that much in the manual on magnets, actually)" Darn, then I'll have to irritate those of you with the knowledge then ;). I'll dig it out anyway...there are other things I need to learn like using the grouping tool and what not. I really have never done much more than posing and the morph dials. :) Laurie
